Women of Significance

The Class of 2016 produced remarkable results in the Independent Examinations Board Exams with 12 girls gaining national recognition for being in the top 1% of Matric Achievers for 1 or more subjects.

Durban Girls’ College applauds the matrics of 2016 on their outstanding IEB results and a 100% pass rate. 89% of all symbols achieved were As, Bs or Cs. DGC recognises the hard work and dedication of the teachers, without whom these results would not have been possible. The Class of 2016 have truly demonstrated their academic excellence. Now it is time for these girls to channel this excellence into living lives of significance. DGC wishes them well in all their future endeavours.
